Did you know I up-cycle clothing? I launched a sustainability line early this spring. I go to many upscale consignment shops and look for the perfect items and then I add my personal touch. I served on an environment commission for many years and started an environmental club at a school where I was a teacher for 30 years.

I was featured on Facebook and Instagram by the Hammonton Green Committee and will be part of their market in downtown Hammonton, NJ.

Here is their post:

"The Hammonton Community Market welcomes Beedy Knits to the June & September markets. Cindy Leatherwood is a fiber artist who knits and teaches classes. She up-cycles children's sweaters, rompers, jean jackets and works her magic to give them a second life by customizing them with original hand embroidered designs. Check out her adorable creations at the June 28th market on Horton Street & Bellevue Ave in Hammonton New Jersey."
